PRECAST CONCRETE SEWER TANKS
- Tanks are manufactured by Cape Concrete Works, Blackheath, Western Cape, (founded in 1932)
021 905 1200 - Concrete mix design: Concrete class 40/13 strength 40 Mpa - 13mm dolomitic stone.
- Steel design: Single layer of REF617 mesh – 30mm cover.
- Grouting used on all tanks: Sika 212.
- Tanks carry a 12 months structural warrantee (T&C applies)
- Ikapa Concrete tanks comply with the relevant requirements of SANS 10400.
- Ikapa Concrete tanks have been approved by an accredited ESSA structural engineer.
- Ikapa Concrete tanks are available in the following sizes: 2500 - 5500 – 6000 - 7000 – 8000 and 10000 litres
- All tanks are designed and manufactured to accept light duty traffic loads (drive ways)
- HEAVY DUTY TOP SLAB ON REQUEST
- Tanks are not designed to be submerged in water; constant water pressure will (High pressure zone to Low pressure zone) cause water leaks if the sealant is damaged
